YES BANK : APPONTMENT OF CRO AND CCO.

Mr. Neeraj dhawan was appointed as CRO of yes bank for some time . but from now on my sumit gupta will be new CRO (chief risk officer) of the company. He we hold the office from 1 September 2020 for next 3 years.

Mr. sunil gupta is working with bank since begaining and he has worked in different position. Hence he has understanding of organizational structure.


He has studies B.tech from IIT ,delhi(Indian institute of technology). And he is MBA in finanace from IIM (Indian institute of management, Calcutta).

He has work experience of around 30 years. Earlier he had worked as associate director in Rabobank. And has also worked in standard chartered bank , CRISIL and maruti Suzuki.

Before being appointed as CRO, Mr. Sumit Gupta was in position of the position of Group Head of Large Corporates . His job was to give strength and increase the scale of large corporate, for example-

1.        Government Banking,

2.       MNC Banking,

3.        Supply Chain Banking,

4.        Agri Product Management,

5.        Strategic Government Advisory

6.       and Food & Agr Advisory.

 

Chief compliance officer



Similarly mr. rakesh mehran was appointed Chief compliance officer for some time . but from 1 september 2020, mr. ashish chandak will be the new chief compliance officer from 1st September 2020, for next 3 years.

He is working with the bank for 11 years and he was also at  various position of the bank.

Mr. Ashish Chandak has completed his Engineering in Electronics & Instrumentation and MBA in Finance from M. S. University, Baroda.

Prior to joining YES Bank, he was Director, Investments with ICICI Ventures Funds Management Co. Ltd. He has also previously worked with IDFC Limited, L&T Finance Limited and Thermax Limited.

Before being appointed as CCO, he was Group president II of management excellence and governance.

He was leading MEG group which was responsible for conducting-

1.        staff accountability reviews

2.        providing consulting and management advice

3.       Ensuring adoption of best-in-class governance practices across the Bank.
